National Medicines Symposium to explore safer medicines use

The National Medicines Symposium 2026 will be hosted by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, with registrations now open.
Taking place virtually on 11 November 2026, the symposium will centre on the theme ‘Medicines Stewardship: safer use starts with all of us’.
The event will bring together healthcare professionals, consumers, researchers and policymakers from across Australia.
Discussions will focus on approaches to improving the safety and quality of medicines use and the role different groups can play in medicines stewardship.
