Hearing Services providers have until 31 October to complete 2026 self-assessment

01 Oct 2026

The SAT is part of the program’s compliance monitoring process and allows contracted providers to check their systems and processes against program requirements.

Providers were notified by email on 18 September that the 2026 SAT was available. The tool can also be accessed through the Hearing Services Program website.

Completing the SAT is a requirement under clause 16.1.8 of the provider contract.

After submitting the SAT, providers should receive an email confirming that their responses have been received. The email will include a link to their responses, and a copy can also be downloaded from the final page of the SAT.

Providers who do not receive the confirmation email should check their junk or spam folder. If the email is still not found, they should contact the program to confirm their submission was received.

Feedback on the SAT process can be provided at the end of the assessment.
