Free wound management workshops for nurses in South Western Sydney

Nurses working in general practice across South Western Sydney are invited to attend free face-to-face workshops focused on the fundamentals of wound management.
The four-hour workshop will provide practical knowledge and hands-on experience in:
- Wound cleansing and simple debridement
- Selecting and applying appropriate wound dressings
- Compression therapy and its application
- Best-practice approaches to wound care
Workshop dates:
- Tuesday, 10 November 2026
- Tuesday, 11 May 2027
Morning and afternoon sessions are available at the South Western Sydney Primary Health Network (SWSPHN) Education Room in Campbelltown.
The training is free for eligible nurses, with a $25 refundable deposit required to secure a place. Places are limited and registrations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Nurses who completed the same wound management course in March 2026 do not need to repeat the training.
Registration closes Monday, 5 October 2026 for the 10 November session
