Conference to focus on future of general practice sustainability

The event, held at The William Inglis Hotel in Warwick Farm on 18 October, will run from 9am to 5.15pm and includes a complimentary lunch. GPs can also earn 6 RACGP-approved CPD hours.
Organisers say the conference will bring together doctors, practice managers and staff to discuss challenges facing general practice, including workforce shortages, burnout, and rising practice closures in the region.
Topics will include improving workflow, better use of Medicare billing, employment management, leadership, and the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
Speakers from AI, workplace training, coaching and Medicare education will also present practical strategies for everyday practice management.
