Ahpra Opens Applications for Distress Incident Review Group

The group will review serious cases, including those involving suicide, to help improve Ahpra’s processes and reduce distress for people involved in its regulatory system.
Applications are open to registered practitioners with experience of Ahpra’s processes, as well as consumers and patient advocates.
This work follows advice from the Minimising Practitioner Distress Expert Advisory Group to better respond to serious incidents.
Ahpra encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people from diverse backgrounds.
