Applications open for Ahpra Board community members
20 Apr 2026
People with experience or interest in health, education, business administration, or regulation are encouraged to apply. The role focuses on supporting safety and quality in Australia’s health system.
The National Registration and Accreditation Scheme plays an important role in making sure the health workforce is culturally safe, respectful, and responsive to the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. It also works to help reduce racism in healthcare.
Ahpra is also aiming to increase Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander representation on its Board and strongly encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
Those who are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and want more information can email mobvoices@ahpra.gov.au.
Applications can be submitted through the Statutory appointments vacancies page, and general enquiries can be sent to statutoryappointments@ahpra.gov.au.
Applications close on Sunday 10 May 2026 at 11:55pm (AEST).
