Patients can choose either an electronic prescription or a paper prescription—but not both.
Your GP can send an electronic prescription directly to your mobile phone or email, making it easier and more secure to get your medications.
Electronic prescriptions can also be added to an Active Script List. This digital list keeps track of your electronic prescriptions and barcoded paper prescriptions, making it especially convenient for people taking multiple medicines.
