Government Asks GPs for Feedback on Urgent Care Centres

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing has appointed research firm Nous Group to assess the urgent care clinic program against nine measures of success agreed by the Australian, state and territory governments.
The review will include feedback from GPs working in different parts of Australia to understand how urgent care clinics are affecting local healthcare systems.
GPs interested in taking part can submit an expression of interest for a paid feedback session. Selected participants will receive $75 for each half-hour session.
Up to three sessions will be available:
- Thursday 10 September, 8.00–9.00 am (AEST)
- Tuesday 15 September, 5.00–6.00 pm (AEST)
- Wednesday 16 September, 5.00–6.00 pm (AEST)
The research team will select GPs from different states and territories, as well as different geographic areas, to provide a broad range of views.
The feedback will contribute to the final evaluation of the urgent care clinic program.
GPs who want to participate can submit an expression of interest through the Australian Government's research program.
