RACGP Boosts Flu Vaccination Push and GP Support Initiatives

The campaign highlights the key role of general practice in improving vaccine uptake, with resources like posters and social media content shared with local MPs to promote vaccination in communities.
The RACGP is also calling on members to share their experiences working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Practitioners. These insights will help showcase the importance of culturally safe care and strengthen primary healthcare outcomes.
Alongside this, several upcoming education sessions are being offered to support GPs, including webinars on Fellowship exam preparation, mandatory reporting, and ADHD with eating disorders.
Other updates include:
- A new podcast from BreastScreen Victoria promoting early detection
- Resources explaining peri-operative medicine for better surgical care
- The upcoming General Practice in Addiction Conference in Melbourne this August
These initiatives aim to support GPs, improve patient care, and strengthen community health outcomes.
