PBS Website Updates and Changes – May 2026

Several updates were released on 1 May 2026. These include Section 19A medicines subsidised under the PBS, active ingredient prescribing changes, ex-manufacturer price updates, formulary allocations, an amendment to a schedule item description, and updates to the Medicine Status website.
Other recent updates include a public consultation on the draft 2026–27 Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) for PBS medicines and NIP vaccines (30 April 2026), and a consultation on consumer engagement in health technology assessment (29 April 2026).
Additional publications and updates cover the 24-month review of minimum stockholding requirements (24 April 2026), new resources for Remote Area Aboriginal Health Services prescriptions (22 April 2026), PBS and RPBS date of supply data (20 April 2026), and an outcome statement from the February 2026 stakeholder meeting on multiple myeloma (17 April 2026).
Earlier updates include the PBS listing of lamotrigine for bipolar disorder (8 April 2026) and the PBAC update for March 2026 (7 April 2026).
