NHMRC and MRFF Seek Nominations for Health Research Advisory Committees

The opportunity covers four joint advisory committees focusing on consumer interests, Indigenous health, industry and commercialisation, and public health and health systems.
These committees provide advice on emerging challenges, research priorities and funding approaches. They also help align Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) activities with the NHMRC's Medical Research Endowment Account to improve the impact of public research funding.
People from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including consumers, community members, industry representatives, clinicians, researchers and philanthropy representatives. All committees will include consumer and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives.
Selected nominees may also be invited to serve on more than one committee.
Nominations close on 20 November 2026.
