New Funding Round to Support Aged Care Services in Regional and Specialised Communities/3
03 Jul 2026
The funding supports Support at Home providers operating in rural and remote communities, as well as those delivering specialised aged care services across Australia. The aim is to ensure older Australians can access quality home care services at reasonable prices, regardless of where they live or their background.
Two funding streams will be available: one for rural, remote and specialised services, and another specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services.
Providers that received funding in earlier grant rounds can still apply for this round. Some applicants may also need a valid Specialisation Verification for aged care services before they can claim funding.
The Government is encouraging providers to begin preparing their documentation ahead of applications opening.
