RACGP Hackathon returns in 2025
Date: Friday 28 – Sunday 30 March 2025
Location: Sydney, NSW (venue TBA)
After a four-year hiatus, members are invited to join forces with developers and clinical entrepreneurs to tackle real challenges impacting general practice at the RACGP’s 2025 Hackathon.
During this three-day event, participants will be presented with a problem, then work in groups to develop and prototype their solutions. Teams will present their findings to a judging panel of four digital health experts, with prizes awarded to the winning group.
The inaugural 2019 Hackathon saw the winning team presenting at the RACGP’s annual conference on innovative solutions to communication barriers in antenatal care, with the last Hackathon held in 2020 before a pause during the pandemic.

The RACGP’s Member Engagement Survey closes on Friday 29 November at 11.59 (AEDT).
The annual survey is designed to give the RACGP insights to better understand its members, their overall satisfaction with the college, and to guide its work and advocacy initiatives.
