GP26 Abstract Submissions and RACGP Opportunities Now Open

GP26 will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Kaurna Country from 20–22 November 2026. Abstract submissions close at 11pm (AEST) on 9 June 2026, while conference registrations are also now available.

RACGP Awards nominations closing soon

The RACGP is reminding members to nominate outstanding GPs, registrars, supervisors, and educators for the 2026 RACGP Awards. Nominations close at 9am (AEST) on 1 June 2026.

Expert Committee EOIs

Expressions of Interest are also open for two positions on the RACGP Funding and Health System Reform Expert Committee. Applications close 15 May 2026.

Mentoring Program applications

Applications for the RACGP Mentoring Program are open until 31 May 2026. The program offers opportunities for mentors and mentees to build professional relationships and share guidance and experience.

GPADD Conference 2026

The General Practice in Addiction (GPADD) Conference will take place in Melbourne on 28–29 August 2026. The event will focus on alcohol and other drugs in general practice through workshops and expert-led sessions. Early bird registrations are available until 19 July.

Dermatology workshops

Registrations are now open for Certificate of Primary Care Dermatology workshops in Brisbane and Sydney, including sessions on dermoscopy and dermatological surgery.

MATOD training opportunities

The RACGP is also encouraging GPs to complete Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence (MATOD) training through flexible online and face-to-face programs available throughout 2026.
