Endometriosis Clinics Expand Nationwide

Endometriosis Clinics Expand Nationwide

28 Apr 2026

These clinics are based within existing GP practices and provide team-based care for women and girls dealing with endometriosis, pelvic pain, perimenopause, and menopause.

The program has already supported more than 10,000 patients and delivered over 28,000 services through its earlier network of clinics.

Doctors working in these clinics say demand is high, with many patients feeling relieved to finally be heard and receive a clear diagnosis. The clinics are helping fill a long-standing gap in women’s healthcare.

The initiative is part of a $793 million women’s health package announced by the Federal Government. Officials say there is now at least one clinic in every Primary Health Network across the country.

From July, the clinics will also expand services to include support for perimenopause and menopause, aiming to improve access to affordable and specialised care.

The Government says the goal is to ensure women across Australia can access knowledgeable healthcare professionals who take their concerns seriously.

An evaluation is currently underway to assess how these clinics can better support patients, especially those with multiple health conditions.
