Case of Meningococcal
A case of invasive meningococcal disease has been notified in an 11 month-old infant from rural South Australia. The baby has been admitted to hospital and is in a stable condition. The strain has been identified as serotype B

There have been 3,179 new cases of COVID-19 reported in South Australia in the past week. As of 11:59pm Thursday 30 March, there were 138 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including four people in ICU.

Meningococcal case
ase of invasive meningococcal disease has been notified in a 24-year-old male from rural South Australia. The patient presented to hospital early in the course of the illness, was diagnosed and treated promptly and has now been discharged. Identification of the strain is in progress.
