Aged Care Workers Get New Online Training on Updated Aged Care Laws
26 May 2026
The eLearning module is part of a wider training series designed to support providers and workers as the aged care system continues to change. It focuses on reflection, discussion, and learning from real experiences to guide better care practices.
Workers are encouraged to use reflective practice to understand challenges, communicate effectively, and adapt to changes within the sector.
The course also helps staff build confidence in using the new Act, locate the right information, and know where to seek help when needed.
It further explains the rights-based approach of the updated Act and how it should be incorporated into care for older people.
More details are available through the New Aged Care Act eLearning program.
