2027 ACPA meeting schedule and application deadlines released
16 Oct 2026
Pharmacists who want to supply medicines under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) and receive government reimbursement must obtain approval under section 90 of the National Health Act 1953.
This approval is required when establishing a new community pharmacy or relocating an existing approved pharmacy.
Applications must be submitted to the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing for assessment by the ACPA against the Pharmacy Location Rules.
The meeting dates for 2027 and the related application submission timeframes are now available. Pharmacists can submit applications through the PBS Approved Suppliers Portal.
