Repeal of Therapeutic Goods (Restricted and Prohibited Representations—Nicotine) Permission (No. 2) 2021

The advertising permission was introduced to temporarily support the changes to the regulation of nicotine that were made in October 2021 to assist with transition to the new arrangements. The scheduling changes have now been in place for more than 2 years and with further reforms to vaping products coming into effect the TGA has determined that it is appropriate to repeal the permission.
