07 Aug 2026

APMHA Healthcare concluded its role in delivering the service on 31 July.

From 1 August, the program is now delivered by:

  • One Door Mental Health across the Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown and Camden local government areas.
  • Community Links Wellbeing across the Wollondilly and Wingecarribee local government areas.

The CMHNS supports people living with severe mental health conditions that have a significant impact on their daily lives. The service combines psychological therapies with care coordination to help people manage their mental health and work towards their recovery goals.

Support available through the program includes:

  • regular reviews of mental health and recovery goals
  • psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy, mindfulness and motivational interviewing
  • medication administration and monitoring
  • coordination between healthcare providers to deliver multidisciplinary care.

The transition has been introduced to ensure ongoing delivery of the service across South Western Sydney.

Eligibility requirements, referral pathways and the referral process remain unchanged.
