Mental Health Integration Hub Offers Free Local Support in North Hobart

People do not need to already be connected with mental health services to access support.
The Hub offers short-term assistance, information, and referrals to help people connect with the right services for their needs. Each month, several free services are also available at the Peacock Centre in North Hobart.
During June, a range of community organisations are taking part in the Hub program, including:
Recovery College Tasmania
Provides education and learning programs about mental health and wellbeing for people with lived experience, carers, community members, and workers in health and community services. More information is available at https://rc.health.tas.gov.au/totara/catalog/index.php
Housing Connect
Helps people understand housing options and supports them in navigating the housing system.
Centrelink
An outreach worker is available to provide advice and assistance.
Mission NDIS / Baptcare NDIS
Offers guidance on NDIS processes and explains how to access and manage supports.
Bridge
Provides intake services for Bridge residential and community-based support programs.
SMART Recovery
A group-based support program for people dealing with addiction at any stage of recovery.
Anglicare Mental Health Recovery
Provides information and intake support for recovery-focused services.
Relationships Australia
Offers information and intake for relationship counselling and support programs.
Wellways
Provides access and information for mental health recovery services.
CVGT
A job services provider offering support before and after employment placement.
Baby Village
A supported playgroup for parents, babies, and young children, run by Playgroup Tasmania.
Community Meditation Group
A drop-in group offering guided meditation sessions.
CatholicCare Safe Choices
Provides support to people experiencing domestic or family violence.
Open Arms
Offers counselling and support services for veterans and their families.
People are encouraged to check the June timetable for session dates and times and contact the Hub the day before attending to confirm availability.
