We are calling for expressions of interest in a new AMA international medical graduate (IMG) working group.

The group will help us better support our international medical graduates and ensure we are responding through our policy and advocacy to the issues they face. 

The working group will advise the AMA on what actions it can take to help IMGs progress to employment in safe work environments, and to pursue fulfilling careers as a valued and integral part of Australia’s medical workforce.

The closing date for nominations is Thursday 25 January 2024. It is anticipated that the first meeting of the working group will be held in February 2024.
