The Department of Healthcare and Aged care- 23rd September 2022
23 Sep 2022
Following a joint decision by Australian Health Ministers, we have now moved to a weekly reporting model for COVID-19.
This aligns with state and territory weekly data reporting and brings Australia in line with the international health community.
This change reflects Australia’s COVID-19 shift from our emergency pandemic response to living with COVID-19.
Moving to weekly reporting of COVID-19 makes it easier for Australians to make informed decisions about their, and their family’s health.
We will continue to provide you with weekly reporting on state, territory and national trends for:
- case numbers
- hospitalisation rates
- associated deaths
- vaccination rates.
Historical daily COVID-19 data is available in our Coronavirus (COVID-19) at a glance infographic collection and the Coronavirus (COVID-19) common operating picture collection.
