Thank you for your vote on the AMA’s constitutional changes

Last week, AMA members overwhelmingly supported the constitutional changes set by the Federal Board and AMA leadership team.
The result is a strong vote of confidence in the AMA as a united organisation committed to a common cause.
The AMA thanks all who participated in the vote, with 95 per cent of the voting members backing the proposed constitutional reforms that will allow AMA Tasmania to merge formally with federal AMA.
The new constitution is now a forward-looking, fit-for-purpose governing document that equips the AMA to move forward confidently to meet challenges.
