Seeking expressions of interest — health technology assessment advisory committees

The Department of Health and Aged Care (department) has recently commenced an expression of interest (EOI) process for positions on its health technology assessment (HTA) committees.

Upcoming HTA committee positions include:

Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC)

  • Chair
  • Deputy Chair
  • Committee members (multiple, professional and consumer)

Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC)

  • Chair
  • Committee members (multiple, professional)

Medical Devices and Human Tissue Advisory Committee (MDHTAC)

  • Committee member (consumer)

The EOI and an applicant pack that provides advice on how to apply is available on the department’s job vacancies page  

Please note, the closing date for receipt of EOIs is 11.59 pm (AEST), Sunday 3 September 2023.
