Your AMA24 conference is steadily approaching and this week we are highlighting a session focusing on scope of practice.

The session ‘Perspectives at 20 paces: Scope of practice who's right?’ will take place on the opening day of the conference. The session will examine the ways scope of practice has been politicised and weaponised by some health groups, and consider proposed ways forward from doctors, pharmacists and nurses.

Speakers for the session include AMA (ACT) President Dr Kerrie Aust, President of the Australian Primary Health Care Nurse Association Karen Booth, and President of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia Tom Simpson.
