Registrations now open for the National Medicines Symposium 2024

This year’s theme for the National Medicines Symposium is ‘Ageing Well: Safe Medicines, Better Lives’.
As Australia’s population ages, we need to manage the appropriate use of medicines.
The symposium will bring together experts and practitioners to discuss innovative strategies for:
- enhancing medication safety
- reducing polypharmacy
- improving the quality of life for all Australians.
It will discuss the challenges of how to balance:
- managing disease with medicines
- avoiding medication-related problems.
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care will host the symposium on Tuesday 19 November 2024, 10 am to 3 pm AEDT.
