Register for next week’s AMA x Doctors for the Environment (DEA) annual webinar, Climate change and Sustainability: Leadership and Action from Australian Doctors.
The Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care, Ged Kearney, will provide an update on the implementation of the Australian Government’s National Health and Climate Strategy and the exciting initiatives in the healthcare pipeline.
Dr Catherine Pendrey will present on the important education advances adopted by the Australian Medical Council and Professor Carolyn Hullick will present on the sustainability work from the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care.
Each of the Australian medical colleges will also be invited to provide updates on their specialty’s past and future activities in relation to climate change and sustainability.
