Long overdue reforms to Australia’s private health system will be discussed at a webinar hosted by the AMA later this month.
Members are invited to register for the webinar now and to submit their questions.
The webinar will not only act as a useful information session for private specialists, it will also appeal to anyone considering a future in private practice.
The webinar, to be held on November 28, comes after the AMA convened a workshop with leaders from across the private health sector to discuss what reforms are needed to ensure the sustainability of the sector into the future.
Stakeholders shared general agreement on the need for reform, including on out-of-hospital care models.
