18 Sep 2025

Round 3 of ACCAP will fund 66 infrastructure projects, including:

  • 315 new or reopened aged care beds, helping older Australians transition from hospital to residential care more quickly.

  • 12 projects supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, providing culturally appropriate aged care.

  • A 94-bed residential care home in Broken Hill, the largest grant awarded under ACCAP to date, addressing regional service viability challenges.

These projects aim to attract and retain workers while improving aged care access outside major cities.
