Amendments made by the National Health Amendment (Enhancing the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme) Act 2021 (Cth) (Amendment Act) give effect to the commitments in the new Strategic Agreements with the medicines industry (2022-2027), which includes the PBS Minimum Stockholding requirements that commence from 1 July 2023. The following updates have been made to the PBS website to provide guidance to the medicine industry about the stockholding requirements:

• Amendments to Medicines Supply Security Guarantee web page including publication of the PBS Minimum Stockholding Guidelines
• Publication of the Ministerial determination request form (Word 55KB)
• Revised List of designated brands as at 14 October 2022
