On 1 June 2024, changes were made to the restrictions of several medicines listed on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) to implement recommendations made by the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) in March 2023, July 2023 and March 2024.
