New Practice Noticeboard connects general practices with allied health professionals in South Western Sydney

10 Sep 2025

South Western Sydney Primary Health Network (SWSPHN) has launched a new Practice Noticeboard, a free online tool designed to help general practices and allied health professionals connect more easily. The platform supports multidisciplinary care by making it simple to find and share work opportunities across the region.

How it works

  • General practices can advertise job vacancies or rooms available for rent.

  • Allied health professionals can promote their availability or interest in working locally.

  • The service is open to practices and health professionals based in South Western Sydney or those planning to relocate to the area.

  • Notices remain online for up to three months.

Why it matters
The Practice Noticeboard expands on the former Practice Vacancies page to meet broader workforce needs in primary care. It was developed in response to requests from practices wanting to host self-employed allied health professionals and professionals seeking to work closely with general practice teams.

The tool also supports practices participating in the Workforce Incentive Program (WIP) – Practice Stream, helping build strong multidisciplinary teams to better serve patients.

Getting started

  • Practices and professionals can post or browse notices at swsphn.com.au/practice-noticeboard.

  • Step-by-step instructions and sample notices are available to guide users.

The Practice Noticeboard is part of SWSPHN’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the local primary care workforce and improve access to care in South Western Sydney.
