New Online Toolkit Helps Providers Navigate Changes in the Aged Care Act

This release provides a toolkit designed to give aged care providers the resources they need to prepare their workforce for the upcoming changes.
The toolkit aims to make it easier for providers to implement the new Act and support consistent, high-quality care for older Australians.
Release 1 includes:

Workforce training plan template: A step-by-step guide to help identify learning needs for different roles.

Education and training catalogue: A list of resources and training developed by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

Guide to navigating change: Helps workers understand what is changing, how to apply it in daily work, and how to continue improving care.
Access: Release 1 is now available on the official website. Further releases of Module 3 will follow soon.
