New Bulk Billing Incentives Calculator launched!

From 1 November 2025, eligibility for existing Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) bulk billing incentives will expand to all Medicare-eligible patients with the introduction of the Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program (BBPIP). Practices that register for BBPIP and bulk bill all eligible services will receive an additional 12.5% incentive payment per quarter on every dollar of MBS benefit from eligible services, split evenly between the GP and the practice.

the types of consultations provided
It allows practice managers and GPs to compare different billing scenarios, supporting informed decision-making about adopting full bulk billing.
Practice managers can also express their interest in BBPIP to receive:

early access to Medicare Bulk Billing Practice signage to display in their practice, promoting their decision to fully bulk bill patients
