NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee seeks community feedback
02 Oct 2025
The NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee is reviewing a range of supports to ensure they are safe, effective, and provide value for people with disability. They are asking for input from the disability community to help inform their advice to government.
The committee is currently reviewing six types of supports:
-
Active passive trainers
-
Assistance animals for autistic people or people with intellectual disability
-
Psychiatric assistance dogs
-
Seizure alert dogs
-
Exercise physiology
-
Smart home appliances for cooking, cleaning, or gardening
If you use any of these supports, research them, or use other supports for similar purposes, the committee wants to hear from you.
Your feedback will help guide recommendations to improve outcomes for NDIS participants. Public consultation is now open and closes at 11:59 pm AEDT on 9 November 2025. You can provide feedback through the NDIS consultation hub.
