Helping first responder workplaces improve mental wellbeing and prevent harm
04 Oct 2024
The aim of the project was to develop the capability of first responder workplaces to improve mental wellbeing, prevent harm and protect our first responders, including those in a volunteer and paid career roles against psychological risk.
FOWI worked with first responder agencies to co-design the toolkits, based on the Thrive at Work Framework.
Individualised toolkit resources providing practical guidelines and evidence-based workplace prevention strategies have been developed for the first responder workplaces focusing on the themes of peer support, debriefing and mentorship.
