Healthcare Identifiers Framework Project Consultation

We have released a public consultation paper to inform reforms to the Healthcare Identifiers Framework (the HI Framework) as part of the Healthcare Identifiers Framework Project. The consultation paper presented 8 main problem statements.

These problem statements posed questions about the HI Framework and the Healthcare Identifiers Act 2010 (Cth). We received 49 submissions, ranging from full submissions to letters providing background context and general comments.

We have now released an outcome summary report after this consultation. This report summarises the feedback from stakeholders. It explains each question under the main problem statements in the HI Framework Project consultation paper.

We thank all the stakeholders who participated and took time to give their feedback.
