The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete and offers participants the chance to win full registration to GP26 or one year of complimentary RACGP membership.
Insights from previous surveys have already influenced real change. The RACGP has used feedback to advocate for fair remuneration, broaden the scope of practice, and address workforce challenges. The 2024 survey highlighted the importance of a connected community, prompting the college to expand opportunities for GPs to network locally and nationally.
Concerns about the future GP workforce were also identified, leading the RACGP to take members’ priorities to decision-makers, resulting in additional benefits and incentives for doctors in training.
RACGP President Dr Michael Wright emphasised the significance of member input:
“Members are the heart of the RACGP. I encourage all GPs to participate in this year’s survey so the college truly reflects your needs and challenges. Your feedback helps shape the RACGP’s direction, strengthens general practice, and ensures the college advocates where it matters most.”
All RACGP members have received a personalised survey link via email, but it can also be accessed online.
Members are urged not to miss this opportunity to have their voice heard before the survey closes on Friday.
