COVID-19 emergency leave extended for permanent aged care residents
22 Dec 2023
Unpredictable COVID-19 outbreaks are still occurring in aged care homes and the broader community.
Continuing emergency leave will give reassurance to residents who wish to temporarily stay with family at these times, and not have to use social leave.
Residents will not have to pay the aged care home any extra fees (over what they already pay) to secure their place.
