Dr Stephen Gourley — has been appointed the new President of the Australian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM).
Having spent the past 16 years in Alice Springs, Dr Gourley becomes ACEM's first regionally based president, and he has vowed to place a focus on improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
