The CHSP Provider Readiness Checklist outlines key actions providers should take to remain compliant and operationally ready under the new legislation.

What providers need to do

CHSP providers should:

  • Review and update service agreements to align with the new Aged Care Act

  • Confirm client eligibility and reassess existing clients where necessary

  • Adapt internal systems and reporting processes to meet new requirements

  • Understand new governance, quality and regulatory obligations

  • Ensure staff are informed and trained on the upcoming changes
