Boosting suicide prevention for Western Australians

The Mental Health Commission is supporting community organisations with $1 million worth of grants for suicide prevention initiatives.
The funding will support community organisations across Western Australia to deliver culturally appropriate, community-led programs, increase awareness and educe stigma around mental health and suicide, and deliver projects that foster resilience and connection.
The grants, announced at the 2025 National Suicide Prevention Conference held in Perth reflect the theme ‘Together Towards Tomorrow’.
