Appointment of National Rural Health Commissioner

The Hon Mark Butler MP, Minister for Health and Aged Care has appointed Professor Jenny May AM as the National Rural Health Commissioner.
Professor Faye McMillan AM has been appointed Acting Commissioner from 1 July to 30 August 2024.
Professor Jenny May will start as the National Rural Health Commissioner on 2 September 2024 (until 30 June 2026).
