Aged care nursing and allied health scholarships

Scholarships are now available for personal care workers, enrolled and registered nurses, and allied health professionals working in aged care. Applications are open until 10 October 2023.
These scholarships will support our aged care workforce to build skills in the care of older people and improve their expertise in areas such as:
- palliative care
- dementia care
- clinical gerontology
- behavioural management
- infection prevention and control.
Qualified courses include vocational education training, postgraduate allied health, and undergraduate and postgraduate nursing. Students can apply if they are undertaking a course which commences or is continuing in 2024. All scholarship recipients will be eligible for a completion bonus on finishing their course.
A guaranteed number of scholarships will be available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
