Aged Care Capital Assistance Program (ACCAP) – Residential-based Services and Staff Accommodation Grant Results

Up to $300 million was available to fund infrastructure projects aimed at maintaining or improving access to quality residential-based aged care services in:

  • Regional, rural, and remote communities (Modified Monash Model MM 2–7)

  • Metropolitan areas (MM 1) providing specialised or targeted care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

Staff accommodation projects supporting residential-based aged care service delivery in regional, rural, and remote locations (MM 2–7) were also eligible.

Applications and Funding

The grant opportunity was highly competitive, with 367 applications requesting over $2.4 billion for the $300 million available.

A total of 66 projects were funded, with allocations across states and territories as follows:
