Additional $15 million in 2023-24 for CHSP ad hoc grant opportunity

An additional $15 million in funding is now available for the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) ad hoc proposals extension grant opportunity (GO5672). This funding will support the large number of outstanding ad hoc grant applications for 2023-24.

The purpose of the ad hoc grant opportunity is to enable CHSP providers to:

respond to unforeseen and exceptional circumstances
address gaps in service delivery
trial and implement new and innovative service delivery models.

An addendum to GO5672 has been published on GrantConnect. Applications for the grant close 2:00pm (AEDT) on 30 June 2024.

If CHSP providers are experiencing any service delivery or capacity issues, we encourage them to first raise these concerns with their Funding Arrangement Manager in the Community Grants Hub.
