$71 million for clinical trials and research into the best multidisciplinary models of primary care

The 2024 Clinical Trials Activity grant opportunity will provide $63 million for medical research into:

  • the treatment of rare cancers, rare diseases and unmet need
  • effective health interventions. 

Funding is from the MRFF’s Clinical Trials Activity initiative.

The 2024 Integrated Multidisciplinary Models of Primary Care grant opportunity is supporting projects that evaluate new or existing models of team-based primary care. This is the second grant opportunity under the Primary Health Research Plan Expert Advisory Panel's research plan. Up to $8 million is available from the MRFF’s Emerging Priorities and Consumer-Driven Research initiative.
