Clinical trials are essential for testing new therapies and treatments, and for generating the evidence needed to improve healthcare.
The 2025 Clinical Trials Activity grant offers up to $61 million in funding for:

Early-stage, small-scale projects targeting rare cancers, rare diseases, or other areas of unmet medical need

Clinical trials that support the delivery of effective and high-value care

Prevention-focused clinical trials
This funding comes from the Medical Research Future Fund’s (MRFF) $750 million Clinical Trials Activity initiative.
