$48.8 million for genomic research into medicines and to improve First Nations health

The MRFF’s Genomics Health Futures Mission supports genomic research to improve how we test and diagnose diseases, and personalise treatments to improve health outcomes.
The latest grant opportunity under the mission will provide up to $48.8 million for medical research and innovation projects that:
- use pharmacogenomics to find new medicines and make medications safer and more effective
- apply genomics to better diagnose, treat, monitor and prevent major diseases affecting First Nations people.
